SOUTH SUDAN AS A GLOBAL SECURITY THREAT AND AN ATTEMPT TO AVERT ITS ANARCHIC COLLAPSE AS YUGOSLAVIA DID!
This is a virtual program open to anyone who is interested in issues raised by the now completely failed and collapsing South Sudan State. Everything is self paced and conducted on line. Installments are added to the program as the South Sudan Story continues to unfold in real time. Virtual Question and Answer (Q & A) sessions are regularly scheduled with speakers and presenters. Installment 1 comprises information about 1) A genocide against the Nuer tribe that must not be forgotten. 2) South Sudan as a failed state. Installments 2, 3, 4 and 5 comprise of an abridged history of the two Sudans which starts in Egypt, a country that played a significant role in the formation of Sudan and South Sudan. The abridged history forms the first part of the program, to provide context.

INSTALLMENT 1
Installment 1 comprises information about 1) A genocide against the Nuer tribe that must not be forgotten. 2) South Sudan as a failed state. The first presentation revisits events leading to and following the genocide against South Sudanese from the Nuer tribe. It includes a) a brief mention of the First Sudanese Civil War b) the Second Sudanese Civil War c) the Referendum that resulted in South Sudan’s Independence on July 9, 2011 d) Kiir’s violation of the South Sudan constitution and the lawlessness of the so called Sudan People’s Liberation Army, the now so-called national army e) Kiir’s false allegation of a so-called coup by Riek Machar, a Nuer f) genocide against the Nuer tribe beginning on December 15, 2013 because members of the tribe belong to the same tribe as Riek Machar g) the third full blown civil war that erupted because of the genocide, resulting in unprecedented violations of human rights and suffering h) a sham 2015 so-called agreement dubbed ARCISIS signed under duress i) genocide against all the other tribes of South Sudan j) more lawlessness k) a firefight at the Presidential Palace in Juba on July 8, 2016, the eve of the fifth anniversary of South Sudan’s independence following the failure of the so-called “Peace Agreement” l) another sham 2018 so-called peace agreement again signed under duress m) South Sudan’s total descent into anarchy n) South Sudan as a global security threat and a breeding ground for terrorists. INSTALLMENT 2 - INSTALLMENT 5
Installment 2 comprises of Part 1, Part 2 and Part 3 of an abridged history of the two Sudans taken from "Egypt, the two shattered Sudans, Equatoria and emancipating Africa by Margaret Akulia". The abridged history is intended as an introduction to more in depth research. Part 1 includes information on Egypt and the role it played in the formation of Sudan and South Sudan. Part 2 includes information on the Ottoman Empire, Britain, the age of discovery, also known as the age of exploration, the global spice trade and how it introduced colonialism to Africa and other parts of the world. Part 3 includes information on activities by Egypt, the Ottoman Empire and Britain in relation to the two Sudans (Sudan and South Sudan) and the African Slave Trade which profoundly affected the two Sudans. INSTALLMENT 3
Installment 3 comprises of Part 4, Part 5 and Part 6 of an abridged history of the two Sudans taken from "Egypt, the two shattered Sudans, Equatoria and emancipating Africa by Margaret Akulia". The abridged history is intended as an introduction to more in depth research. Part 4 includes information on the importance of the Nile River to Egypt, the two Sudans and the quest to discover the source of the Nile during the age of exploration which eventually led to the formation of the two Sudans. Part 5 includes information on English explorer Sir Samuel Baker, English explorer John Hanning Speke, the source of the Nile River, Britain’s colonial strategy in Egypt and the Turco-Egyptian period in Northern Sudan from 1863 to 1879, rebellion against the Turco-Egyptians and their allies the British in Northern Sudan, beginning in 1881. Part 6 includes information on the continuing rebellion against the Turco-Egyptians and their allies the British in Northern Sudan, the Scramble for Africa including in the Sudan, featuring Britain, France and Belgium.
INSTALLMENT 4
Installment 4 comprises of Part 7, Part 8 and Part 9 of an abridged history of the two Sudans taken from "Egypt, the two shattered Sudans, Equatoria and emancipating Africa by Margaret Akulia". The abridged history is intended as an introduction to more in depth research. Part 7 includes a) information on the reconquest of the Sudan by the Turco-Egyptians and their allies the British b) the continuing Scramble for Africa c) a declaration of independence by Darfur d) the time Sudan became a Condominium of the United Kingdom and Egypt, ushering the Anglo-Egyptian Sudan e) the continuing Scramble for Africa in the Sudan which included incursions by the French and Belgians f) the invasion of Zandeland and a fight with King Gbudwe of the Azande g) the Treaty ceding a territory known as the Lado Enclave to King Leopold of Belgium until his death. Part 8 includes information on a) the continuation of Sudan as a Condominium of the United Kingdom and Egypt b) the time Southern Lado enclave was transferred to Uganda c) reinstatement of Darfur as part of Sudan d) etcetera. Part 9 includes a) Introduction to Sudan’s Independence and related events b) dissatisfaction by Southern Sudanese who began to entertain the idea of federation.
INSTALLMENT 5
Installment 5 comprises of Part 10, Part 11 and Part 12 of an abridged history of the two Sudans taken from "Egypt, the two shattered Sudans, Equatoria and emancipating Africa by Margaret Akulia". The abridged history is intended as an introduction to more in depth research. Part 10 includes information on a) great apprehensions from Southern Sudanese about independence with Northern Sudanese b) the August 18, 1955, mutiny by members of the British administered Sudan Defence Force Equatorial Corps popularly known as the Torit Mutiny which sparked the first Sudanese Civil War c) Sudan’s independence on January 1, 1956 d) continuation of hostility between Northern and Southern Sudanese e) the war waged by Southern Sudanese for federalism or independence dubbed the First Sudanese Civil War. Part 11 includes a brief introduction to the First Sudanese Civil War. Part 12 includes an introduction to a project titled “OPERATION RESCUE EQUATORIA”.
