The South Sudan Talks Program is primarily availed online for convenience, global reach and easy access. Anyone with access to the internet can participate from any location in the world. The program provides opportunities for individuals and groups to learn about South Sudan in more depth and for South Sudanese and their friends to talk about what is happening in South Sudan in order to come up with effective and permanent solutions for averting the unprecedented carnage and lawlessness that threatens to wipe out the world's newest country! It is open ended and a way to give voice to the masses of South Sudan who have been relegated to the sidelines in direct contravention of the supreme law of the land, namely the interim constitution of the Republic of South Sudan which vests ultimate authority and power in “the people”.
It is now time for "the people" to take their constitutional power and right to map the way forward for South Sudan themselves in the privacy and confidentiality of a computer or other mobile device without being threatened or harmed. In other words, the South Sudan Talks Program aims to provide an avenue for a solution to the South Sudan carnage that is discussed openly and transparently by the people of South Sudan and their friends from the safety of a computer or other mobile device. Through the program, the people of South Sudan take a closer look at what is happening in South Sudan and participants are given an unfettered opportunity to voice opinions and provide input into the way forward for South Sudan that is fully supported, owned and implemented by a majority of the people of South Sudan themselves because the supreme law of the land confers that ultimate authority and power on them. All opinions are taken into account, no opinion is stage-managed and anonymous contributions are allowed.
